The Way
Earn the day.
Have less but better.
Speak less than you know.
Control the controllable.
Earn each day. Wake up early, before the sun is up. Enjoy the few moments of calm a new day offers before the chaos of life begins. Make those moments count. Work toward earning the fact that you are alive. Work your body and your mind. Focus on making today’s "earned you" a better version of your "yesterday you."
Be quiet. Focus the energy. Earn the day. Every single day.
Enable the ability to think and appreciate everything. Learn quality and thoughtful processes. Understand simplicity and the need for less. Be a brutal minimalist when it comes to things, demanding the best in everything you own or make. Seek the best and simplest version of anything. Make it last through proper maintenance and care. Learn it fully. Use it until it becomes part of you, until it is no longer something you need to think about, but something your body does.
Build the mental flexibility to adapt, reducing the need for things. Do more with less.
Learn. And learn again. Knowledge dispels fear. Lack of fear enables thoughtful observation. The more you know, the less you need to prove yourself. There is no need for opinions all the time. Speak only when you must, only when you know it is absolutely necessary. Observe others. Learn from their words, whether true or not. Incorporate what is useful and discard what is not. Always discover new things, new ideas, new points of view. At the end of the day, it’s all about learning, and pushing forward.
Focus on what you can control to simplify your life and reduce stress. Take care of the things within your reach ahead of time, so you are not weighed down by worry, starting the day calmer. Stress removal is key. Be proactive, not reactive, so the things within your control are the best they can be. All else... try to let them go.
Control the things you can control and build confidence.
