Jaded

It's hard for me to believe that the majority of people are stupid. I think a better way of looking at this would be that the majority of people choose to be stupid. Why? I don't know, and frankly, I don't care. I'm just tired of the stupid-on-purpose people.

The lack of common sense in today's world is just unbelievable. How we, as a species, managed to survive after the Industrial Revolution is anyone's guess, but my guess is that the very few people remaining with common sense in the world are working doubly hard to account for the magnitude of stupidity that rules the world.

Like Einstein apparently said:

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."

I'm closing the year angry, and if I had my way, I'd move to a remote place, like Montana, Iceland, or somewhere in the middle of the desert, get a small, simple house, and live simply. Away from people.

Yeah, I guess I'm a sociopath... Or maybe I'm just too jaded in my old age...
